Jun 20, 2010 As one who doesn't usually eat Chinese food I was pleasantly surprised at the well blended tastes and also the very good service. A very nice experience and well worth a visit for those who enjoy Chinese food or those who have yet to try a Chinese restaurant.

May 17, 2010 We have visited e-Pan on a number of occasions and have found the overall experience excellent every time. The quality of the food was outstanding with a large selection of dishes. The hospitality was superb with staff going out of their way to ensure that we had an enjoyable evening. The prices were reasonable and a good selection of wine is offered.
We think that this restaurant is well worth a visit.

I used to be a restaurant writer for a well known online dining website, and I know that good names and reputations don't spring up overnight, but they have to start somewhere. Somewhere in Bournemouth - somewhere rather obscure, you'll find probably the best Chinese restaurant this side of the great oceans that separate us from the Orient. Fresh ingredients, and genuine Cantonese cooking prepared without monosodium glutamate - most unusual these days!
I went with my Chinese girlfriend who corroborated the fact this was excellent cooking, so much so, she was teasing me she might change her boyfriend for someone who could cook like Louis Kwong - the owner. She is serious about her food, and I got seriously nervous! I suggest if you're serious about eating a great Chinese meal, seek this place out. And guys - learn from Louis the master - if you want to keep your partner!

e-pan Chinese restaurant is a very nice restaurant - good service and food. We love the ambience and food. Their wine list is very special too, excellent for its value.

E-pan boasts a range of mouthwatering and healthy dishes (no MSG used in the cooking) which are authentic enough to make Chinese natives feel entirely at home. The chef Mr. Kwong has a big smile which is as infectious as the food.
Nice Chinese beer and succulent spare ribs dowsed in rich gravy. You're unlikely to wait long between courses; but if you do, there's always fine Chinese arthouse films to keep you occupied.
They know here how to please and delight all the senses.

Have eaten here a couple of times and had take away meals. The food is delicious, beautifully cooked. The chef is also the owner and takes real pride in his cooking of authentic chinese food. There are also the old favourites on the menu for those who like them. His wife is delightful doing much of the front of house stuff. All in all a great dining experience.

We have eaten at and ordered take-away from E-Pan many many times and have also enjoyed a number of important family celebrations there (birthdays etc.). The food is always beautifully cooked with real pride and care, the service from Louis and family is always perfect and i cannot recommend this restaurant enough, if you enjoy Chinese food then E-Pan is definitely the place to try.

This has been our favourite Chinese Restaurant and Take-A-Way since it opened. The food is fantastic, the service excellent and the atmosphere and environment with the plants etc is soothing in our hurried world. The proprietors Mr and Mrs Kwong are great hosts and look after their customers attentively. We have taken elderly relatives there for their first Chinese dinning experience and everyone has had a great time. I have also taken business guests there for lunch and shall continue to do so for the quality of food, the efficient service and friendly staff. Also, the sign of good management is knowing your customer - and Mr and Mrs Kwong now greet me and my family by name - that is what makes Epan special from all the other local Chinese restaurants in the area.
It is nice and peaceful and has very festive decorations. The service is very polite and friendly to serve for all your needs. The food is absolutely delicious and has all the traditional chinese dishes. I would recommend the chicken chow mein or the duck pankakes. The price is good but eating out is always expensive. Also their take-away provides good service it is quick and is easy to phone in and order.

E-Pan serves some of the best Chinese food I've sampled in the UK. I'd highly recommend the sea-spicy dishes - my mouth's watering just thinking about them! I've taken my partner many times, and the staff are always very cheerful and friendly. E-Pan is the perfect restaurant to become a regular of: great food, great atmosphere and the fantastic service you simply don't get from chains or larger restaurants. 5 Stars!

What a lovely welcome we received by the owner and his family, all round this was a very good experience. Great food, spotlessly clean and welcoming restaurant.

We have eaten here a few times now and the food and service are always excellent.
Mr & Mrs Kwong are excellent hosts and very
attentive.
The food is excellent with a large array of choice and cooked superbly by the chef and owner Mr Kwong.
This is an excellent restaurant and deserves to be supported more.

Looking for a restaurant where we would get personal attention as well as good food we were told that there was a restaurant in the middle of a residential area just out of the centre of town. We are so glad we made the effort to find Rosa and Louis.
For a very resonable cost we had a lovely meal in colourful surroundings, we'll definitely return.

This restaurant is by far the best I know! Louis and Rosa take pride in cooking and I enjoy every mouthful of the meals every time. The price of the food is very affordable, I recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves to eat chinese.
